What is the essence of a carport? Where is the line between it and a garage? These are the questions that we all think about. Ok, most of us don’t, but it is still an interesting quandry. A carport to most people lacks walls. However it can have walls that reach up 40% of the carport’s height. Another obvious difference is that carport’s don’t have doors. Carports are also more likely to be found in a portable form factor, such as a Canopy Carport, and are easier to build. These are just a few of the things that make a carport a carport.
