Keeping the Root Systems Healthy

Plants will only be as healthy as the root systems allow them to be.  If a plant’s roots aren’t doing that well, then the plant isn’t probably going to last that long.  One reason that a plant’s roots may be struggling is because of a fungus known as pythium.  This fungus attacks the root system of a plant and acts as a water mold.  There are two different precautions people to take to make sure this fungus doesn’t attack their plants.  One method is to use clean water, and the other is to use a fungicide that can prevent or get rid of the fungus.
