I was doing one of my night drives because I felt a little restless, I started to get out of the cities borders as I was driving. This was all done without me noticing anything. I was just thinking about how it felt back home, the province, the air, the green and the slow life. I stopped at a cafe in the outskirts. It was called solis espresso Cafe. Had some cinnamon buns and a smoke. Didn’t order coffee though, it would not help my mission to sleep. When I got home I felt a little nostalgic, hung my head on a pillow, drifted away and dreamt about home.

I was at a Wendy’s yesterday and saw a guy walking into the store. He was carrying a computer backpack on his back, and he was also carrying another in his right hand. Wow, two ccomputer backpacks for one person? He must be really busy if he owned two laptops for work. Well, the mystery of the two computer backpacks was solved when he approached the counter to order his meal. There at the counter was his partner giving their orders. When she turned around I could see that she was pregnant. So that explained the other computer backpack. It must belong to her and he was helping her to carry it. I smiled to myself. Chivalry is well and alive.

I just bought a corn cleaner for the 2 Corn Burning Stoves we use.  One is in the living room and one is in the dining room.  They are on opposite ends of the house so between the two, they keep the house nice and toasty when it starts getting cold outside.  The corn cleaner was a really good deal and we use it a lot.  I actually run the corn through the cleaner twice since I have a daughter who as asthma.  She’s never had a problem but I don’t want there to be one either.  Burning corn has really help cut the bills here. 

My husband and I are both police officers, and we are both well aware of just how careful you have to be when finding someone to care for your children. I like post and beam entryways. Why? Don’t really know why. Just that I like them. they make me intrigued in the design and in the workmanship that they have. I want to see everything that goes into them. The piecing that it takes to put it all together. I also want to be a part of it. I build the houses, but I get so excited to do the entryways. The wood and archways that you can make with the posts are so numerous in what you can do with them it’s so crazy. I like to be a part of it and so I make sure I’m there when it’s getting done.
