I have always been a little paranoid about the fact that I am constantly working on a computer.  I have seen the terminator movies way too many times, and it always makes me wonder when my computer is going to turn on me.  When a friend of mine sent me a file to run regcure to make it work faster, I told them that I feel safer having it run slow.  They told me that I am being a little ridiculous, and I should really stop watching so many science fiction shows.  I think that they are right.  I ran the program.

I have recently moved to Florida for business. I live right on the coast. I never once gave a thought to the fact that there is a hurricane season here. That was until I heard the very first one of the Hurricane Advisories for the seasons. The entire office sat quietly and listened. I was immediately scared stiff. I came from a little town up in the mountains. We never got more than a thunderstorm up there. It told us that the storm was due to hit the coast at three o’clock in the morning. I will never get to sleep tonight.

It is beginning to look like the guys and girls behind Me2everyone may finally actually be getting the ball rolling on the new layout and Beta Version 1.5  Me2everyone is now close to 470,000 members, and continues to grow.  The proble is that it is not growing at as rapid a pace as it had in the mid stages. At one point a couple months back they were taking on abotu 10,000 new members each and every day.  Now they are lucky to get 300-400 per day at the most.  Once people start getting their actual shares in the mail I think this may just change.

You will find Vanessa and Angela Simmons on their own show this year called Daddys Girls.  The show runs on MTV and features both girls along with their cousin from the east coast named Jessica.  It also features Alycia, their money-wise neighbor.  These girls are really grown up now and I am impressed with how they turned out.  Watching them grow up on Run’s House was fun, but watching them conduct their business and do adult things on their own show is really refreshing.  I really do enjoy it when the kids from one show grow up to have their own show. 

My friends and I never really got into file sharing, especially when the whole Napster thing happened.  I know that it doesn’t really help out the artists if people aren’t going out and actually buying the album.  I always thought that it would be great if there was a site that you could use to download one song from any album, and then if you liked it, you could buy the album.  I guess it is up to the artist on that one.  My friends have recently started getting ares music, and they said that it is a great resource.  I am still a little unsure.

• Set aside work time. Set certain periods of time aside for contacting potential Hostesses, preparing for Open Houses, sending out invitations, planning ways to make your business grow, etc. Get ideas from other Consultants, Hostesses, and even Open House guests.
