The FDA just voted against the new fat loss drug Qnexa. Why? Well apparently there is potential for some minor side effects, stuff like strokes, increased risk of suicide, heart attacks, lovely stuff like that. My mom was really looking forward to this drug coming on the market. She’s into all the quick and easy ways to lose weight.
She certainly needs to lose it. Like most of our family friends, she’s a good 20 pounds overweight, and has a bunch of health problems related to her fatness. I’ve tried to convince her for a long time that none of the quick and easy tricks she’s been trying are the way to go. maybe this will do the trick.
