As both my wife’s parents came to live with us, it soon became apparent that our 50-year-old, 2-story home and its two expansive staircases would soon become too much for them to navigate. That was just one of the reasons why our family decided to have a personal elevator installed in our home. The other one being that it was just plain cool. The initial expense was not that bad all things considered – my in-laws were very willing to help — and when all was done, not only did we have an awesome transportation system for her parents, but a very nice addition to our home as well.
