I recently found a great place to sell gold scrap and get a pretty fair deal. There is a place in Federal Way, WA called Northwest Territorial Mint that has been around since the 1980s and have a really good reputation.
I sell my gold scrap here all the time, especially when my grandparents passed and left me with a house full of gold and silver items. Some I kept and some I took to these guys. They appraised it fairly quickly and I returned about a week later to sell more of my gold to them.
They have a great customer service attitude and their appraisal was very fair.
