Do Magic Tricks Revealed Make You High Tail It Out Of There?

After you begin to study magic, you learn an important secret about the art of misdirection. You should never reveal your secrets to anybody, because nothing can spoil a show quicker than magic tricks revealed. I’d go so far as to say they can remove even the most thrilled person’s taste for magic if revealed too much. It’s ok to reveal a little bit of a trick, just to increase somebody’s interest, but to show the whole trick kind of does a disservice to those that have paid good money to see a trick. Which is why when somebody is about to reveal some magic tricks, I make sure to high tail it out of there.
