Is this what Quimby was using?

Wasn’t there a movie with Tom Selleck called Quimby?  I think he was a sharpshooter in the australian outback.  He was not using a Bushnell 4200 Elite.  Rather, he was using peep sights to shoot long distnaces.  He had a specialized rifle but I don’t remember the name.  Somehow Sharps comes to mind.  Perhaps I need to look that up some time.  It has been a long time since I have seen that movie but I do remember that he was an expert marksman.  Using the right tools is important for shooting well.  One thing is you need to be able to calculate bullet drop.  His peep sight was set up for that.
