It wasn’t until I moved to the west coast when I found I had a taste for fresh fish. A colleague of mine from work invited me on a west coast salmon fishing trip with him. We took his boat to BC and made a whole weekend of it. The first day we didn’t really catch much but the second, it seemed like every fish wanted their turn on our hooks. When we were back at the cabin, my buddy made this amazing wasabi encrusted salmon and rice for our lunch. I don’t think I’ll ever eat store bought fish again.
