Choose Destination and Then Accommodations

After choosing a vacation destination one of the first decisions to make is where to stay.  Large big name hotel, B&B, or furnished apartment?  When visiting Columbia, furnished Medellin apartments are the best value.  They are luxuriously appointed, some with balconies overlooking the city.  When you consider the short amount of time spent in the room, it doesn’t make sense to spend a lot on a fancy hotel room that is intended primarily for sleeping.  There are so many sights to see in the city and surrounding area that visitors are not in their rooms for most of the day.  While in Medellin tourists can enjoy shopping, fine dining, bull fights, soccer games, visiting the zoo, museums, and churches, or taking day trips to the pueblos outside of town.  Use the money you save on accommodations to enjoy these attractions.
